President Prabowo Subianto has announced that 352 TNI soldiers will participate in the military parade to celebrate the 76th anniversary of the Republic of India in New Delhi on January 26, 2025. Before his departure to India from Halim Perdana Kusuma Airbase in Jakarta on Thursday afternoon, President Prabowo shared this exciting news. Indonesia is honored by the invitation from the Indian government, granting Indonesian troops, including Akmil cadets, a place in the front row of India’s anniversary parade. The Indonesian contingent will comprise 352 TNI soldiers and cadets from the military academy. President Prabowo’s itinerary includes meetings with Indian President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss bilateral cooperation, such as signing an MoU for collaboration in various areas like health, culture, security, maritime safety, and technology. Furthermore, engagements with Indian entrepreneurs interested in investing in Indonesia are also planned during his visit.
