Iktikaf Experience in the Prophet’s Mosque Revealed by TikTok Account
The experience of iktikaf in the Prophet’s Mosque was shared by the TikTok account @belajardimadinah. The account mentioned that worshippers who registered for iktikaf in the mosque already received supporting facilities such as pillows, mattresses, blankets, bathing supplies including toothbrushes. In a small bag, there were also miswak, eye masks, and digital tasbih. All these facilities were placed in lockers according to the assigned numbers during iktikaf registration.
According to the account, these new area facilities were only available during the Ramadan season in 2025 or 1446 Hijriah. For information, iktikaf is a practice of the Prophet Muhammad SAW in the last 10 days of Ramadan, which involves staying in the mosque to draw closer to Allah SWT through prayers, recitation of the Quran, remembrance of Allah, and other Sunnah practices.
It was mentioned that these facilities were not only for men but also for women. The content uploaded received various responses from netizens. “MasyaAllah, how amazing Saudi is, hopefully, we can experience iktikaf in the Prophet’s Mosque,” wrote one netizen. “Oh Allah, may we be able to experience i’tikaf in the Nabawi Mosque, amen Ya Rabbal Alamin,” another netizen expressed their hope.
