Prabowo Subianto, Chairman of the Great Indonesia Movement Party (Gerindra), officially unveiled the lineup of the Central Executive Board (DPP) for the period of 2025–2030 on Friday, August 1. The new structure sees Prabowo Subianto maintaining his roles as Chairman and Chairman of the Board of Trustees, with Sufmi Dasco Ahmad as Executive Chairman, Sugiono as Secretary-General, and Satrio Dimas Adityo as Treasurer-General. The official signing ceremony took place at Prabowo’s residence at Garuda Yaksa Padepokan, Hambalang.
In expressing gratitude for the continuous support of all Gerindra Party members, Secretary-General Sugiono highlighted the significance of this moment in reaffirming the party’s commitment to unity and solidarity, especially in backing President Prabowo Subianto’s leadership. He underlined the collective effort to assist the President in fulfilling his duties in line with the Constitution and laws of Indonesia.
Sugiono also conveyed appreciation for being entrusted with the role of Secretary-General, acknowledging the service of his predecessor, Ahmad Muzani. Muzani had held the position for 17 years before Sugiono took over. The Secretary-General went on to extend deep gratitude to Muzani, emphasizing the party’s utmost respect for his dedication and contribution.
Furthermore, Sugiono, who also serves as Indonesia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, thanked Prof. Dr. Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, the newly appointed Executive Chairman, for his longstanding commitment to Gerindra. Ahmad’s role in the party’s establishment and growth was highlighted, recognizing his pivotal contributions.
