Pride and Gratitude: Prabowo Welcomed Warmly at ITB by Researchers

President of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, made an appearance at the 2025 Indonesian Science, Technology, and Industry Convention (KSTI) held at the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). The event, organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemdiktisaintek) in collaboration with ITB, saw President Prabowo touring various exhibition booths upon his arrival. Padjadjaran University’s booth, featuring “Flagship Research Products” like VR Dental Hypnosis and VR for Nurses, showcased innovative research-based technologies. Following the exhibition tour, President Prabowo delivered remarks in the Sabuga Hall, expressing his appreciation for the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, Professor Brian Yuliarto, as well as other distinguished guests present. With the theme “Science and Technology for Economic Growth and Equity,” KSTI 2025 aims to catalyze national economic transformation through research, science, and technological innovation. This convention is part of the government’s strategy to bolster the foundation for Golden Indonesia 2045, featuring exhibitions from sectors like energy, defense, digitalization, healthcare, food security, maritime affairs, and advanced materials and manufacturing.
