Children of Pacu Jalur Celebrate meeting President Prabowo

Aryana and Wirotirta, two young Pacu Jalur performers, were filled with joy and excitement as they participated in the Independence Day celebrations at Merdeka Palace. It was Indonesia’s 80th anniversary, and they were thrilled to have the opportunity to perform in front of President Prabowo Subianto. Dressed in traditional Malay attire, the children’s synchronized and energetic movements captivated the audience, bringing the pride of regional culture to the national stage. The celebration also featured a pencak silat troupe demonstrating martial arts skills, action star Iko Uwais performing traditional Indonesian self-defense art, and the graceful Tari Payung Merah Putih (Red-and-White Umbrella Dance) enhancing the celebratory mood of Independence Day.
