All Quick Impact Programs (PHTC) are a clear demonstration of the government’s commitment to its people, as highlighted by Chacha Annisa, Senior Expert Staff at the Presidential Communication Office (PCO) during the “Double Check” discussion on “The Role of Family Development in Welcoming Indonesia Emas 2045.”
Chacha emphasized that the various government programs introduced since January, such as Free Nutritious Meals (MBG), Free Health Checks (CKG) including School-Based Free Health Checks, Sekolah Rakyat (People’s School), School Renovation and Revitalization, Digital Learning, and Merah Putih Village/Neighborhood Cooperatives, are all aimed at benefiting families. However, she underlined the importance of active family participation for the smooth implementation of these programs.
Drawing from her experience in monitoring the School-Based Free Health Checks with the Ministry of Health, Chacha shared how educating parents beforehand helped in ensuring that children did not evade health workers during the check-up sessions.
Furthermore, Chacha highlighted the positive impact of the CKG program, which has encouraged healthy competition among students, leading to positive changes in their habits such as eating breakfast for energy and reducing screen time for better eye health.
Under the PHTC initiative, Chacha mentioned several notable achievements, including the establishment of 4,424 Nutrition Service Units (SPPG) under the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program, reaching 8.2 million beneficiaries and generating 82,000 jobs. The Free Health Checks program has benefited 17.6 million people, with 12.7 million already examined. The early phase of the Sekolah Rakyat (People’s School) program caters to 159 schools and serves 5,665 students. Additionally, 81,500 Merah Putih Village and Neighborhood Cooperatives have been created, while the school-based CKG program has conducted health checks for 34,542 students in just three days.
Highlighting the impact of these numbers, Chacha emphasized that they signify the government’s commitment and visible presence in improving the lives of the people.
