President Prabowo Subianto of Indonesia joined the celebration of Maulid Nabi Muhammad SAW 1447 H at Istiqlal Mosque in Jakarta, together with Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Defense Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya. The event revolved around the theme “The 2025 State-Level Commemoration of the Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday: Ecotheology – The Example of Prophet Muhammad SAW for the Sustainability of the Earth and the Nation.” During the event, Minister of Religious Affairs Nasaruddin Umar delivered a sermon emphasizing the values of love, compassion, and happiness. Led by Imam Husni Ismail, worshippers were encouraged through prayer to protect nature and promote peace. The primary goal of the event was to pay tribute to Prophet Muhammad SAW and encourage his followers to uphold environmental preservation in line with his teachings.
