Citra Pitriyami and Ino Darsono registered with the KPU as prospective candidates for Bupati and Wakil Bupati of Pangandaran in 2024. The pair was accompanied by popular singer Cakra Khan, who is Citra’s brother.
Both candidates wore white attire with Pangandaran’s signature batik motif scarves. They arrived at the KPU Pangandaran office on Thursday (29/8/2024) at 2:20 PM with a convoy of supporters, including party leaders.
During their procession to the KPU office, Citra and Ino were accompanied by dancers and Cakra Khan, drawing the attention of many residents who opted to take photos with them. The pair, supported by PDI Perjuangan, PAN, Nasdem, Perindo, and Demokrat, were the first to register with the KPU.
Their campaign tagline “Pangandaran Melesat” (Advancing Pangandaran) indicates their goal to continue and improve upon the development of Pangandaran. Citra, the candidate for Bupati Pangandaran, expressed readiness to compete in the 2024 election.
The white attire symbolizes peace and tranquility, while the batik scarf represents diversity. KPU Pangandaran’s Muhtadin confirmed the acceptance of their candidacy documents and assured that further verification would be conducted promptly.
After verification, a confirmation letter will be issued to the candidates.
